Tuesday - BOTT Cardio and Cafe`

Good morning.

Sorry I haven't been here for the past few days.  Life has been crazy - and I needed to take a few steps back and turn my brain off for a while.  Unfortunately, while doing that, the dang wagon ran me over...again.

I am SO discouraged - I'm 11 months out, have only lost 65 lbs, and just feel 'stuck'.  And I know why I am where I am, and I've got only myself to blame - but I'm having a terrible time motivating myself.  I am so stressed that my willpower is suffering...and well, that is just simply an excuse, and I can't keep relying on it to get me through.

Anyway...anyone have a big cup of motivation I can borrow?   Just seems that I do much better motivating other folks, than I do myself.  (Or at least I don't listen to my own good advice...one of the two.)

My plan for the day:
B - Yogurt and Cereal
S - Cheese and Grapes
L - Ham, Cheese, Crisp Bread, Fresh Veggies, 1 slice Eggface's Protein Cake
D - Pot Roast and carrots
S - Ricecake with PB

Cardio:
Not sure yet.

Hope ya'll have a good day.  Someone strap me to the wagon please!

Food is already a bit nuts today...
not a lot of calories, but LOTS of carbs. I am really hungry today!
i think it has to do with my cycle. We shall see....

I am going to have a cheeseburger for lunch and prob a baked potato for dinner.
Pumpkin fluff is in my fridge and calls to me all the time!!! lol!

Hi BOTTers and Kel,

Kel, I selected the BOTT quote for today from your post. Check it out. I hope it helps. Put up the hammer you're using on yourself and like Happy said, be a Nike woman and just do it. Be kind and loving to yourself just as you are for us. You can do it. I believe in you.

Good morning fellow BOTTers,

I spent Monday night in the ER with what they thought were kidney stones (have had them before). Turned out to be a very bad bladder infection. After I.V. antibiotics and 2 rounds of I.V. pain meds I was able to come home.

Right now I'm getting ready to head to my family docs for a rash under my right moob that wont go away.

This weekend my wife and some of her friends spent about 30 hours making Christmas cookies and candies that we give out as gifts to friends and family. I don't usually eat much candy but the stuff they make is AMAZING and it will be a test to keep away.

Oh well, heres todays plan

B: coffee and 2oz chicken breast on grain toast
L: Turkey sandwich w/ 3oz turkey
S: 1/2 cup of trail mix
D: Chilli w/ salad
S: Protien shake

Have a GREAT day and pray the candies don't win, lol

Wayne - Glad they found the problem and, hopefully, you are now on the mend!    You can pass the "test"  I have all the faith in the world in you.!!!!

Hi Wayne,

Ouch!  Bladder infections!  I hope you're feeling better now.  I hope you're able to get some medication or treatment for the rash.

Just remember that the fleeting taste of the cookies isn't as long-lasting and good as staying on track.  How long does the enjoyment of cookies last compared to the regret?  Cookies don't last as long as the great feeling of passing them up does.  Those are questions that I ask when I'm facing a food choice.  I hope they help.

Take care and feel better soon!!

Hugs, Cathy

Cathy

Good Morning everyone! I am ready to get back with the program after a very hectic 4 days. Ski season is fast approaching again so I got new equipment for my son & I on Friday. Hosted my daughters baby shower on Saturday and I think she has everything she needs, just need the baby now. We went to a dinner party Saturday night and I was thrilled that they had lots of WLS friendly options and I stayed away from the dessert table all night. I was good on my food yesterday, but no exercise. Today is a new day, so no need to harp on the past, time to focus on the here and now!

Cardio: Walking and Wii

Food:

B-Whole Grain & Flax english muffin w/Egg Beaters, Soy sausage and FF cheese
S-Cottage cheese w/soy nuts
L-Turkey chili
S-Turkey & cheese roll-ups
D-Baked chicken, swiss cheese green beans

I am excited that both of my girls are coming over for dinner tonight, I love getting to eat dinner and have some quality time with them, I can't wait!
